I have returned!!

This blog is going to officially mark my return to the blog and the start of my journey through Module 2. Does it seem daunting? yes. But I plan to follow the same plan of action as I did in the first module:

I will throw myself into the deep pool of water. I will be disorientated, panicked and breathless at first, but eventually I will right myself and begin to float smugly on the surface wondering what all the fuss was about!

I am excited about conducting an inquiry and already I can think of a short list of people I will want to interview regardless of the specifics of the inquiry.

I've begun my first day back working on BAPP by catching up with my google reader and commenting on a few posts, as well as reading through the module handbook. It's got me going, and I'm sure I'll soon be back in the full swing of things!

I agree Liam, it feels like it will be hard to get back in the swing of BAPP after having those few weeks off... but i'm sure it will all come flooding back...
Did you check up the grades and marks on the myunihub? I'm not sure if they are uploaded yet, and i'm eager to know my marks, did you get yours??
Good luck for Module 2!

Welcome back!!! I disappeared off the radar but it's nice to be back in the swing of things and to get going with a vengeance! Missed you at the campus sesh on Monday, there weren't many of us there. Good luck with the next Module - any ideas on your line of inquiry yet?

Hi Alicia!

I've checked and no they're not up there yet! I'd not really given them much thought but I shall be checking regularly now!

Good luck getting started!

Aicha!! Where did you go!?

We missed you here in cyber land! Yeah I wish I could have been there, I'm yet to make a single one of them!!! I will one day!

Yes, my ideas for inquiry at the moment are leaning towards the need for a more organic educational system and an educational revolution, heavily inspired by Sir Ken Robinson. I haven't begun to shape it into a specific line of enquiry yet, but that's the direction I'm going for...

How about you, have you got any seeds planted?

Liam,
that sounds like a really good idea, one which you obviously are passionate about since starting your teaching position. I am thinking heavily about my inquiry, and I am veering down the avenue of the 'modernisation of classical ballet'- is it necessary, do the general public actually like this change, how are the artists effected, are some choreographers selfish in their creations (ie. fulfilling their own creative needs rather than the audience/dancers) but i'm yet to read the readers and focus my ideas. Here goes....!

Hi Liam, it sounds like we really are going along the same path with similar lines of inquiry!

Alicia, Rosemary told us on Monday that our marks will be emailed to us at the end of February but we will be receiving feedback within the next few days!!!

Alicia,

Yes I remember you talking about this as a potential area for your enquiry and it sounds like a great focus. It's obviously very current and relevant to your career. My ideas aren't focused yet either, so it's good to hear that your at a similar stage!

Hey Liam!
I also am quite lost with my inquiry at the moment but I think I will be going down the linking performing and dance teaching route. Not sure how yet but I dont want to close any doors at the moment. I will be sure to follow your inquiry though. Sounds very interesting.
